Freezing is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to preserve food. An upright freezer lets you enjoy the full value of bulk purchasing or freezing your produce, meat and wild game, while taking up much less floor space than a chest freezer. Blizzard freezers give you the most space for your money: the largest model (18 cu ft) can hold well over 300 lb of food, but takes up no more floor space than a 5 cu ft chest freezer.
More powerful than other freezers-Upright models have two cooling units, so they’re twice as powerful as other freezers and cool from both sides of the freezer (other models cool only from the back, which can result in up to a 10 degree difference from the front of the freezer to the back).
